I am 36 years old, married male person and if I consume any food either heat or cold, it produces mucus in the chest within 15 minutes due to which couldn't breathe easily. Even after practicing pranayama and also consuming medicines, this problem persist still. The mucus which remains in nose, move to chest and creates congestion while practicing pranayama. This problem was started since from 1.5 years back. I consulted pulmologist and underwent lung scanning, Lung function test, everything was normal. I used to smoke for 10 years and quitted 4 years back. I never had a asthma or tuberculosis, even in family nobody had it. Please suggest me a solution to overcome this problem?

In my opinion you have some allergic factor, which may cause produce mucous in excess. Try to detect it you should make investigation for allergy test. You are practising yoga, it is good, it should be done under expert guru. As medicine you take bibhitak powder3gm morn. And evening with warm water. Avoid dahi, citrous fruits, rice and all refrigerated items. Take ginger treated warm water 250 ml in morning.
