Last week my uncle had a block in his coronary artery and Angioplasty has been done. He was a chain smoker. I am having a doubt that, how the smoking causes the block?

Tobacco smoke contains co gas, which helps bad cholesterol to adhere to arteries, particularly coronary artery, so smokers are prone to coronary artery disease.
