I have thyroid. Taking medications of 62.5 mg. Recently had got thyroid checked through TSH. I want to consult a doctor who can advice me on medications. Thyroid has reduced.

Mr. Lybrate-user, hypothyroidism is a condition that can only be only controlled with adequate dosage of thyroxine. But there is no cure. Once it is diagnosed then it remains with a person for lifetime. On treatment tsh level should be maintained between 3 to 4 milli units / l. Then only all symptoms are in check.
