Dear All, My wife age is 22 years recently her check was done and her thyroid level is TSH 10.4. We have started immediately treatment and also delayed our pregnancy plan till TSH level comes to normal level. She is very stress because of these results as she wish to get a baby asap. Kindly suggest how much time it will take to cover or improve her thyroid level to normal level?

Within two to three months it will come normal. Get tsh done every three weeks. Increase or decrease the levothyroxine dose accordingly. But be careful in increasing dose, small increments of 12.5 or 25 must be done.
