Though diabetic patients are advised to avoid fruits and juices in general, it might be okay to take it if one understand the logic of diet and it's effect on blood sugar levels. Since fruits and juices can cause a rise blood sugars, it is best to take it as the only thing if needed without pairing it up with another food that also increases sugars. So if fruits is your breakfast, then so be it, but nothing along with it. That way, you have had your juice, and also made sure sugars don't break limits.
