Epilepsy is a disorder where a person has tendency to have recurrent fits or convulsions that can be partial or generalised. Epilepsy can be idiopathic that is without any apparent cause, that may occur due to uncontrolled electric activity in brain. Epilepsy can also occur after head injuries, infections in brain, brain tumours, after operations of the brain etc epilepsy is diagnosed clinically with history of the patient and by doing an eeg. Epilepsy is treatable with medications which are individualised according to the patient.
