I am 42 yr old woman, 75kg weight and 5 feet tall. Since last 7to8 yrs, I have tingling and pain in both my hands (in the fingers and palms only) all my other reports are normal (b12, vit d, sugar etc). I am not diabetic. I am married and have 2 kids and by profession a teacher. I didn't take any long term treatment. Only ones I got the problem diagnosed by a neurologist. He said its carpel tunnel syndrome. But with his medication I started putting on weight and am not able to reduce still. I took his treatment for 4to 5 months with no improvement. Hence stopped it. I consulted another doctor (orthopedic), he put me on' new bona plus' initially there was improvement but latter nothing much happened. Its 5 months up that I have been taking methylcobalamin1500mcg. Now the tingling and pain is increasing. I find it difficult to ride my two wheeler or stitch with a needle or even hold a mobile/ chalk constantly to type or write without taking a break in between. Please help me with a solution. I also tried homeopathy, but no use. All just mint money from patients emotions with out giving proper service.
