Often newborns have various skin pigmentation which clear up as they grow older. Skin colour is mostly genetic and can to some extent be brightened by healthy diet, good skin care routine, and sun protection. It is not advisable to use skin brightening agents (chemical or natural) at this age. The newborn skin is sensitive and should only have hypoallergenic baby safe products used. Dermadew/nmf are good baby safe skin care products which will improve quality of skin. Don't worry about skin colour. A healthy skin is a beautiful skin. Enjoy the cuddles with your baby. Hope this helps.
