Psychotherapy is the solution. It is very convenient to be in your shell and letting everyone else look after you. Whenever we have a secondary gain we accept things the way they are instead of changing without realizing how much harm it is causing and will cause in longer run. Through psychotherapy we can get in roots of the problem and challenge your irrational thinking. There are better ways to deal with situation and problem instead of escaping by being emotionless.
