Hey doctor Greetings of the day! Doctor I gave birth to daughter on 27th Jan 2016 and after that till yet I did not got periods. I consulted doctor bt she said it happens wait for 2 months but its still the same. Pls suggest.

Hello mr/ms lybrate-user about your concerns I understand the fear of pregnancy. If you r adequately breastfeeding your baby then you would see your periods late. If you r taking precautions to avoid pregnancy then you can wait upto one year for your periods to come. Thank you stree health.

If you r breast feeding your baby, suppression of cycles may be there if otherwise you r medically fit but take care you can become pregnant if you don't take precautions.
