I am 36 years old male having a swelling type near the thigh joint when I am standing or walking and when I am lying it disappears, what should I do?

R you telling about inguinal hernia? if groin swelling, increases on coughing, visit any good general surgeon.

You should also note some other symptoms such as swelling increases with coughing or not. Wheather you hav a long history of lifting heavy objects. One cannot rule out hernial swelling without any doctor conultation. So in my opinion you should consult a general surgeon.
