I usually have pain in my spinal chord area now for continuous 1 year. Previously I used to work with a construction company where I used to sit for hours on chair. Now situation is such that I can't sit continuously for 2 hours. It pains a lot in the back. Please help me in this regard and let me know if any treatment is required or not?

kindl get an MRI done of your spine to make out the possible causes. Secondly take breaks off your routine of sitting for hours together in a chair. Reduce the weight by 5 to 6 kg. Do massage with mahanarayana oil over the back area. Take Powder of ashwagandha and arjun in equal quantity, mix them well and take with a glass of hot milk, 1 tsf , 1 hr after meals, twice a day.Take mahayogaraja guggal, 2 tabs, thrice a day after meals with warm water. Continue the regime for 2 months. Give rest to your back and reduce your weight to prevent the problem getting worse & recurrence of pain. Good luck
