Dear lybrate-user, a dentist has tools to remove a cap. It can have its own disadvantages, but your cap has to be removed to further any treatment. Please see a dentist and ask him to get an x ray of the tooth concerned. Mostly it happens when the tooth has not got rct treated.
consult a dentist near you for removing the crown with crown remover or cutting it.
