Dear sir /madam. There are two knots on the neck and behind the ears of my son forming for the last 6 months. Age of my son is about 3 years please suggest me some right way to diagnosis.

Hi Prince These knots are enlargement of lymph nodes only and might be result of some infection. Usually recurrent coughs and associated throat infection is the cause in small children. As such there is no need to worry because they usually subsides on their own without any specific treatment. If the size is very big or continuously increasing then consult a paediatrician. FNAC is the investigation used for the proper diagnosis of these kind of knots. BUT I strongly advise you not to go for that in case of your as it will result in increase in numbers. If you have any other doubts then consult me.
