Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You calcaneum pain could be due to degenerative changes in ankle or the subtalar joints, and also your shoulder pain could be due to degenerative changes setting in the joint and affected soft tissues. Latest x rays of ankle and affected shoulder can help us in understanding what grade of degeneration is there but if there is only localised pain with no other s/s of inflammation or infection, no swelling etc, the best way to go ahead is with - intensive physical therapy - short course of anti inflammatory medications which suits your body - adequate calcium and vitamin d supplementation as per requirement we will monitor your progress in 2 weeks time how you are doing with conservative treatment and can then take your case ahead. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.
