Exercises for joint pain: 1> Aqua-Aerobics - For some, running on the treadmill or elliptical can be very painful and do more damage to the bones than good. For those individuals, aqua-aerobics is a great option. Being in the water takes the weight and pressure off of your joints, while still providing a rigorous exercise. 2> Yoga - Yoga does wonders for strengthening muscles and increasing flexibility. 3> Stretching - There are so many different stretches you can perform to reduce joint pain. Depending on what muscles are causing you pain, these stretches can vary. Ask your PHYSIOTHERAPIST what is best for you. 4> Cycling - Try using the stationary bicycles. * Remember, everyone?s pain is unique, and these exercises may not work for everyone. Talk to your Physiotherapist about developing an exercise plan that suits your needs. NOTE: Joint pain occurs because of deficiency or excess of certain minerals. Kindly go for blood tests for precise diagnosis.
