I have a daughter whe born I and my mother noticed eye rolling movements while trying nursing her than doctor gave her mcalvit syrup than after some time nurse came and again tried and vitnused the same than she admitted to nicu where. They did not find anything they didn't recommend EEG or MRI she is r months old and developing normal If this was hypoglycemia than whythat reuccer again I doubt hypoxia and that was not REM sleep.

Hello lybrate-user. Rolling movements of the eyes occur due to various reasons and are of various types. Let me enumerate in brief: (1) they may be nystagmus movements, (2) nystagmoid movements, (3) bobbing, (4) roving, these rolling movement may or may not occur in association with certain genetic conditions (syndromes). Thus the approach, assessment and treatment for such cases should be made by an eye specialist and a pediatric specialist in concordance. I would suggest erg (electroretinogram) and vep (visually evoked potentials) studies to be done for your daughter. This would give an early and fair idea regarding the health of the eye.
