I am 20 I have a problem of eye allergy from past 3years I have shown to doctors, it was told as vkc, they prescribed winolapds, fluorosis, and soft viscviscosity, but when I started using it gets controlled but after 2-3months it reappears even while drops, I hav itching in my eye lids to much and a bit in my cornea, what can I do?

Hello lybrate-user, sorry about your problem. The thing with vkc is that it has a high tendency to recur. Let me put it in this way- in the same way that it is not possible to prevent environmental exposure to dust, allergens or pollutants, similarly, it is not possible to prevent this allergy from recurring. There are a few important tips that might help in solving your problem, though. Maintaining proper eye hygiene would ensure lesser exposure to these allergic substances, dust, etc. Similarly here are a few more suggestions: don't take your eyes for granted! protect your sight with these six tips: 1. Eat for good vision 2. Quit smoking 3. Wear sunglasses to protect eyes from dust, uv light, pollution 4. Wash your eyes 3-4 times a day 5. Look away from the computer screen at regular intervals 6. Avoid rubbing your eyes with fingers/ cloth/ shirt/ dupatta, etc. Hope my suggestions helped you. Take care-regards.
