Will the follicle rupture every month? When I did follicular study, I had injection (HCG) to rupture it. Does that mean that I have issues in ovulating? Will it be because of any hormonal imbalance?

Egg remains alive for 48 hours. Hcg is given to prolong the staying power of egg so that it doesn't break but gets fertilised. Yes in a normal fertile woman 1 or 4 eggs are seen every month at different stages of development day 10 onwards till day 14 when follicles rupture.
