Mid cycle bleeding can be because of ovulation also if her cycles are 28days as you mentioned then they time was approximately her ovulation time which is the most fertile one please her pregnancy test again after one week and check the results.

Hello, the bleed she had mid cycle can be an ovulatory bleed marking that she was in her fertile period and if you had unprotected sex during that time then she may get pregnant. Urine pregnancy test is not reliable till 8 days post missed periods, so get a serum beta hcg test done to rule out pregnancy for certain.
