Hello Our baby was born 25 days back. She got jaundice and had to be kept for phototherapy for 2 days when she was born. Everything was fine after that. But from last three days she is not passing stool. Is it normal? Before that she was passing stool once a day. She is on mother feed with top feed once a day.

Most breastfed babies do not pass motion daily and even one week is safe ,But in your case top feed is a villain and stop it or feed with a spoon and not bottle . When you give top feed you give boiled water in between feeds . And also in your best interest check his TSH as hypothyroidism can also cause constipation
