I am 17. I sometimes have some vaginal discharge. It becomes more just before my periods are about to start. And other days of month it is sometimes there (less) sometimes not. Is it normal?

Hi You are suffering from the problem of leucorrhea. It is a vaginal discharge usually whitish or off white color. It mostly happens in connection with menses. There are many reasons for it like some infections with fungus and other microorganisms; but, most commonly it is idiopathic, means the cause is unknown. If it is accompanied by other symptoms like backache or weakness or burning and itching of the private parts or if its smelly or the colour is greenish or grayish then there are chances of having an infection. For that proper consultation with an expert is required. In some cases it can be considered just increased vaginal discharge and is normal if its not very copious and not infectious. In your case there does not seems to be any infection but the discharge is occuring at other time also; so for this you need to take treatment otherwise it will increase and will cause backache and weakness. The treatment is simple; just go to any good homoeopath and he will treat it in a month or two.
