I have a ulcer in mouth (buccal mucosa) size a pen dot. It is usually due to cheek bite. It is painless now and white in colour. It has been more than a month and it is not going. I had doubts so I visited a dentist for screening and he confirmed that it is a normal lesion in mouth due to cheek bite nothing to worry about. He prescribed himalaya hi-ora mouth wash and kenacort ointment. After a week I again went to see a dentist and he again confirmed that it is healing and nothing to worry about. It has not healed completely. What medicine should I take to heal it fast.

Oral ulcers may be due to vitamin deficiencies, so taking a multivitamin may be beneficial. Rule out anemia and other chronic illness also. Therefore consult a physician and undergo the basic routine investigations.
