My mother 76 years old had performed an usg whole abdomen and two kidney stones were found 7 mm in lower calyx of right kidney and 5 mm in lower calyx of left kidney. Here creatinine level is 1.18.routine urine test shows pus cells 5-6 and urine culture shows ecoli infection. The urologist prescribed portrate mb 6 syrup, lasilactone and antibiotics. I asked the urologist if she should undergo uretoscopy procedure. But he said to observe as the stones are still small and recommended an ultrasound after 6 months as my mother is not showing any pain symptoms. But I think 7 mm stone is not small and there are high chances it will not pass out naturally. So what shall I do? Should I wait and observe?
