Had unprotected sexual intercourse on on 5th april later found she is a csw and after 55 hrs I was on pep which was tenofovir emtricitabine and dolutegravir 50 mg for 29 days once daily. So how long do I need to wait for test to conclusive. What test don I need for conclusion.

Good day Mr. lybrate-user. As per your information provided in the question the pep has been taken with in 72 hours and for 28 days. You did the right thing and the regimen you have taken is effective and as per the national guidelines. And there is no pre pep testing status. As per the guidelines you may tested for hiv antibodies after 28n days of pep usage. Its simple tridot test is enough. Please repeat the test after 3 months and finally 6 months since the day of exposure even though your previous test is negative. Mean whille watch out for the symptoms like continuous fever, diarrihea, weight loss etc. I got more than 10 year experience treating hiv disease, please contact if you still need further assistance.
