Lybrate-user, food gives 3 major nutrients- carbohydrate and fat gives energy, proteins to build muscle and give stamina. Indian diet lacks protein so add milk and milk products like curd, paneer, cheese etc. Dals and pulses, eggs, chicken and fish.
