I am a lady aged 61 yrs. As it is I AM OBESE STRUGGLING TO KEEP MY WEIGHT UNDER CONTROL since I am having Thyroid problem and hereditary obesity problem. I am diabetic since 1998. I AM INSULIN DEPENDANT. In addition to this one of the anti diabetic drug viz pioglitazone has a tendency to gain weight. If I LEAVE THIS MEDICINE. MU SUGAR LEVEL GOES UP. At present I I am taking the following medicines. 1. Human Insulin 50; 50 24-26-0 2) Human Insulin 30; 70 0-0-28 3) Voglitor md 0.30mg 1-0-0 4) Pioz 7.5 mg 1-0-0 alternate days 5) Galvusmet 50/1000mg 1-0-1 6) Triolmezest 20mg 1-0-0 7) Loprim DS 0-1-0. Please advise me a way out to keep my weight under check. My weight was 101kg. After starting pioz it has gone up to 104.5 kg.

Madam, you don't say the tsh level. If high! check immediate" otherwise your weight can not be reduced. Take diabetic diet, avoid oily and spicy food if you take. You need morning walk at least one hour everyday. Regards.
