I am 61years old, with hypertension and type 2 diabetes. My once in three month reading is ---- 6.7 but random done today shows --- 220. I am obese ie 85.5 kgs for height 174cms. Pse give aquick and positive remedy for this.

Your ideal body weight should be 65kgs, which means you are carrying 20 kg extra, this is a major contributor for hypertension and diabetes. My only suggestion is to follow a strict diet that gives exact calories based on ideal body weight, extent of daily physical activity and sugar level. Your caloric intake should be 65 x 25 = 1625 k cals, from this you should reduce 500 calories to lose weight (500 g a week). Plus exercise daily for more than 1 hour. I know what I have suggested is tough to emulate but if you want to be healthy do it.
