She needs wholesome food with plenty of protein carbs & fat besides vitamins calcium iron and other essential nutrients. She needs approx 2400-2600 cal at this stage. Milk dairy products fish meat eggs nuts greens and fruits sprouts pulses wheat or brown rice are good. Give her coconut water butter milk and curd as well. Avoid junk and processed food with artificial flavor or added colour. She can indulge in sweets occasionally but do watch for excess fat going in her diet in form of fried stuff as thats not required. Baby needs quality of nutrition not quantity. There is no need to eat fot two. Encourage to drink plenty of fluids and split her meals into many small meals rather than 2-3 big meals during the day. Sports drink energy mixes and alcoholic beverages besides excess of caffeine etc is not recommended.
