My mother has tested for hepatitis b and it report it says positive and >250 UI/ML. What does it mean, is it a chronic or acute.

When the hepatitis b virus is present in blood for more than 6 months, it is called chronic hepatitis b. Consult hepatologist/gastro enterologist for advice and treatment.
