Hi mam. My father is suffering from insomnia with little bit of anxiety. His doctor prescribed libotryp ds 25 mg for him. He is taking it for the past 5 days. He is currently facing midnight awakenings around 1 o clock. After that he is not sleeping. Is libotryp ds a sleeping tablet. Before that he took nitrosun 10 tablet. That is also not working.

Hi, lybrate user, He should go for a walk in the morning for 40 mnts. He should take plenty of water to hydrate his body. His diet be easily digestible on time to avoid gastric disorder might trigger awakening in the night distracting sleep. Consult , privetly for a faster recovery, till then take, homoeopathic medicine : @PassiflorraQ-20.drops before going to bed . Avoid , junk food, alcohol and nicotine. Tk, care.
