Dear lybrate-user, paralysis causes difficulty in moving either leg or hand of one side of the body. In such case you need to attend physical therapy to improve your mobility and strength and occupational therapy to improve your hand functions. In case of any speech language and swallowing problems, you need to consult a speech language pathologist. You need to keep in mind that more you use the muscles better they become. Try to be active as much as possible and try not to be dependent on your family members for daily activities.
