Even if patient feels better certain investigations like ecg, heart echo, clinical observation and other blood investigations are necessary. On suspicion and to clear doubts angiogram will be necessary to find a block if any and to take further decision. Have faith in your regular physician/ cardiologist. Discuss if you have a close family doctor.

The center would have done an ecg to assess your father and then based on the changes told you he has had a heart attack. The iv injections are immediate emergency medicines and will not clear the heart attack/ blocks. Ideally you father needs to undergo a coronary angiogram to assess how many blocks are there and based on that you will be advised angioplasty.
