I am 21 years old and I started facing a problem. I am very sensitive to any little weird feeling in my body too. Like any little weird muscle movement, heartbeat, or other feeling freaks me out. And I also learned that this only happens when I focus on it. It get's worse when I think about it. When I'm with friends or family I'll forget about it and I" ll be fine. But when I'm alone that's when I get all paranoid. I can't even sleep because I feel like I could have a heart attack in the middle of the night and nobody would be able to help me. I live alone in an apartment and I think the solitude gets to me. I think a lot, way too much for my own good. I'm scared that I may be causing my body health problems because brain is a very powerful thing and if you think very hard about something it happens. Recently I went on a trip with my friends. There also I could not stop thinking about death. So please suggest me something to overcome this fear of death, and I also think it is wasting a lot of my time worrying about it.

Hi lybrate-user you don't have to worry about death. Its a fact. Every body will die one day it's natures rule. Leave all the worries and anxiety, live a happy life. Enjoy each and every second of life without bothering about the future. Live on present. You can change yourself. No body can control your mind only you can do that. If you try better you will get a better result. You r only 21 and you just started your life actually. Why did you spoil your days thinking unnecessary matters. You have to practice meditation, yoga, and pranayama under guidenes. When such irritating thoughts begin, listen to music or engage in some thing you like. Thank you.
