I have facing fissure problem from past 3 years (skin is visible outside of size 1 cm) & it is painful, smells, blood also comes from it. Daily life is not convenient due to this. I met a general gastroenterology she advice to maintain diet for life long. I tried maintaining diet & I felt fissure issue is controlled for some day but again it reoccurred if I miss fiber diet or travel and have outside food for a week. Due to not having permanent cure from diet & medicine I visited a surgeon gastroenterology. He took pictures of anus area & recommended to go for laser surgery for permanent solution. I am not sure what steps to take, should I go for surgery or maintain diet? I need suggestion on this to have permanent solution. I am not sure if laser surgery is safe so not able to take decision.
