I am a 72 yr male. I am a diabetic (for last 4 yrs) and hypertensive for last 24 yrs. I have developed umbilical hernia around 4 years ago. I have no pain. Keeping normal health in general. What should I do for hernia? please Advise.

Operation is the curative treatment. As you said you have good health, 72 years age is not a hindrance for operation. Now a days they operate with laparoscope, that causes minimum trauma. You consult a surgeon who does this by laparoscope and take his/her advice.
