My husband seems to have a lot a irritation and pain in his ass hole sometimes so severe that he cannot sit also. He used to get bleeding also but nowadays he is not getting bleeding but have pain. What medicine should we give so that he can be relieved from the pain. Is this the symptoms of piles? Whom should we consult? Any good doc in faridabad who can help us.

He may be having piles/fissure. Follow the advice given below 1. Apply proctosedyl ointment 2-3 times daily before and after passing stool. 2. Sit in a bath tub containing warm water with little salt for some time twice daily (sitz bath). 3. Take two tea spoonful lof softovac/naturolax powder with a glass of warm water/milk in the evening or syrup duphalac 3 tsf (15ml) twice daily if there is constipation. 4. Take fiber containing diet, plenty of green leafy vegetables and fruits. 5. Consult a general surgeon for further advice and treatment.
