I am a woman in late 40s and have migraine. To get some relief from the headache usually I take saridon for headache but is there any medicine better than that for faster relief? And I read somewhere that having too much meds can harm the liver so should I avoid taking headache pills?

Hi, migraine is a painful phenomenon if it is what you have mentioned, people usually consider frequent headaches also as migraine which is not right always unless diagnosed by a doctor. Pain of migraine needs medicine but the medicine you have mentioned will not be of much help in migraine. Patient suffering from migraine are on a continuous medication. The most common symptoms of migraine are one sided headache bursting type sensation gradually spreading to entire head or back of neck at times, with feeling of vomiting and vomiting episodes in bouts, light and noise are unbearable, if such symptoms are there in your case then probably it could be migraine. Another disorder is cervical spondylosis giving such picture again to be diagnosed by a doctor. And one of the most common situation associated with migraine in case of females is stress, tension, suppressed anger, low spirits, depression, weeping without cause, increased senstivity etc. You need a good doctor to tackle these things. Another situation with females of your age is approaching menopause. So I have mentioned all the likely conditions, find a good homoeopathic doctor around for effective treatment. Have light meals, small meals at short intervals, do not overeat, avoid usage of extremly sour, cold, sweet things they could be a trigger, avoid strong smells and perfumes or stinking places again that could also be a trigger. Balanced diet and regular exercise will help you. Feel free to ask any questions.
