What are the advantages of doing jogging and skipping? Can it be done at anytime by anyone without considering their age and the underlying bone and muscular disorders. Is this indicative to thyroid dysfunction people? kindly explain.

Mr. Lybrate-user, jogging and skipping both are good exercise. The advantage of doing those is one burns more calories per unit of time compared to walking. Both these are considered as high impact activity, so if any person has preexisting cardiac problem then such exercises are not advised. Age is no barrier. I am my self running 70 now, I run12 to 15 kms 2 or 3 times a week and skip quite a lot (about 1200 to 1600, in batches of 200 each time). Always one should start slow and then scale up. On doing regular exercise bones do become strong.
