Avoid more of carbohydrates like rice, pasta etc. Eat more vegeatbles, limit intake of fruits general guidelines: early morning: one teaspoon of methi seeds soaked overnight in 100 ml of water is very effective in controlling diabetes. Or drink tomato juice with salt and pepper every morning on an empty stomach. Intake of 6 almonds (soaked overnight) is also helpful in keeping a check on diabetes. Breakfast: whole grains, oats, millet with high fiber vegetable/salad mid morning; apple/organe 100 gm lunch: salad 15 min before lunch dal, phulka, vgetable curry/veg soup/buttermilk evening tea/green tea/lime tea +2 fiber biscuits /roasted chana mid evening salad of mix vegetable and sprouts an hour before dinner dinner phluka 2, lauki veg, curd bed time skim milk with diet an hour of exercise is a must. And keep sipping water.
