If a part of the brain is damaged due to head injury, the patient may experience such kind of abnormalities as delusions and illusions, unrealistic thoughts and speach etc. In some patients the problem resolves its own in course of time, in some others it may need to take a long term (life time in severe cases) medical management including medicines, rehabilitation therapy, psychotherapy etc. It depends on many factors like age and severity of the injury of the patient. Do not loose heart, things will turn positive as time goes on. Keep in touch with and follow the advices of the neuropsychiatrist.
