I am 23. Female. I am very health conscious. I exercise and do yoga daily at any cost. Also I am very fond of natural and ayurvedic products. One of my friend suggested me to have barely water early in the morning. I usually have green smoothie made of spinach, tomato and cucumber. But my friend says. Barley water is more beneficial. Which of these is more suggested for a good health?

Hye. No single food can be labelled as healthier or superior than another. As a part of a healthy diet both can be good. Also, you need to see what is your need. In summer you can have lemon barley to stay hydrated. As a mid meal a vegetable juice is fine. If the vegetable juice replaces breakfast or if the barley water replaces your snack then they are no longer going to benefit you. So, you can have both as long as it's a part of a well planned diet.
