Numbness in general can be due to: - compression in nerves at the level of spine - vascular cause but that is normally associated with severe pain - underlying systemic diseases like diabetes or any affliction which can cause a neuropathy but common cause at your age is spine. So elaborate your back pain, leg pain, numbness in legs, paresthesias in legs etc also please tell me how much distance can you walk before you start feeling these symptoms? have you got x rays and mri of your lower back done? do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.
