My mother is a diabetic patient, since 24 years. She doesn't eat any sweet items and diet also in control. The test reports are always getting (fasting - 200 and post lunch -240-250) at every time. At present the medicines taking by her are as follows. 1. Human Actrapid insulin - 22 units *3 times a day 2. Lantus Pen Type insulin - 23 units * 1 time (9 pm) 3. Glycomet 500 mg - 1 tab * 3 times a day 4. Galvus 50 mg - 1 tab * 2 times a day 5. Sartel C 80 mg - 1 tab a day (BP TAB) 6. Tonact 10 mg - 1 tab a day. (CHOLESTEROL TAB) 7. ELTROXIN 25 mg -1 tab a day (THYROID TAB) 8. Esoz D 40 mg - 1 tab a day (GAS TAB) 9. triple A Cal - 1 tab a day (CALCIUM TAB) Can anyone advice how to control my mother's diabetes. Lot of Medicines she is taking whole a day due to which she is also suffering from digestion problem. Expecting the best advice from the doctors. Thank you.
