Hi, my daughter is four years old she had large cavities in morals teeth lower jaw, also upper front teeth r all damaged. She had pain and infection, thr is pus also, what shud v do. R these teeth removable at this stage. please need your opinion.

Hi lybrate-user the milk molar teeth are supposed to hold on till age 10-11 years at least. They wl help your daughter to chew well n get nutrition from the food she eats in her growing years. Loosing these teeth early will cause serious effects on nutrition as well as chewing pattern. If jaw muscles get into wrong chewing pattern at this age it wl be difficult to restore later in life. Do consult a friendly dentist to allay her fear n proceed to restore these teeth. Thanks
