While playing football a month ago, a guy headbutted me in the chest, The pain was there for around 10 days. Then it disappeared. Then again it resurfaced and I am having belching, breathlessness, slight burning sensation and pain. Its been three weeks almost I am having that pain. The pain shifted to the right side of the chest. Now again it is in the center. I have a swelling over my Xiphoid process on the lower end of the sternum. Please help me. I visited a doctor. Given my history with stomach problems, she ruled it as some Gas issue. But these problems have started after I got hit on the chest. What is the actual cause of this pain? Please help me.

It is highly recommended that you go for chest x ray and rule out any kind of rib fracture. Football injuries are highly intense and severe traumatic injuries. You should not take it lightly. X ray will give us clue to proceed further.
