I had fallen while playing cricket on last Saturday so I went for a massage on Sunday but after having bath there was severely pain in my lower back, visited doctor and got the MRI as suggested and doctor has told that it's a slip disc and can't play cricket anymore Pls suggestions required.

Then is conjuncture with a neurosurgeon you can find out when you can start playing. A good strength training programme should help you. Pls get yourself examined by a physiotherapist. It will help you deal with your pain better. As of now avoid lifting heavy weights or any kind of strenous activities. Do hot fomentation twice daily. Postural correction- always sit with a small pillow at your low back. Sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises like bridging and bhujang asana x twice daily. Sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees or on your sides with a pillow between your knees. And get vit d levels checked. Go for regular walks follow 30-30 rule when at work. After every 30 min of work. Do 30 sec of stretching or stand and walk a bit.
