Hlo sir my name is nagaraju my age is 19 but my height is 5'2 only nd my father height is 5'1 nd my mom height 4'7 so all doctors says that mainly height depends on genes so can I increase upto 6 feet please help mee doctors nd wht shld I do to increase my height.

Mr. Lybrate-user, in your case, what doctors said is absolutely correct. Ht is basically depends on genes from parental background.& growth also will be till 20-21 years only. After that mostly once the calcification over, there is no possibility for growth of bones. Try doing long jump, foot ball, basket ball, few exercises under any expert,& taking good proetinaceous diet, d. Calcium rich food. By doing all, there may be chances for further growth, but not sure& 6 ft is not possible. My strong suggestion is do not try to take any medications for growth of ht, especially seen in advertisements.
