Stress, lack of sleep, thyroid, sugar, eating too much carbohydrates and frequent eating the erractic diet and lack of physical exercise and a sitting job/ work are a few common reasons behind weight gain. Usually males have a tendency of weight gain at the belly area. 1. Take sprouts, fruits, less of the sugars and carbohydrates in your diet. 2. Do not take any slimming product. 3. Do lots of yogasan - chakrasan, sarvangasan, mandukasan, shalabhasan, kapalbhati pranayam (slowly) and anulom vilom. 4. Soak 1 tsp each methi daana and black pepper overnight in water. Add 1half tsp dry ginger and 2 tsp saunf. Boil in 4 cups of water and reduce to 1 cup. Drink empty stomach. You can take this in the evening as well. 5.
