Body lost almost 15-20 weight in 2-3 months. diagnosed with gastritis. Further during tests, hba1c found 15. No history of high glucose. Is it gastritis that caused high glucose or its high glucose that cause gastritis also? What is main issue? What should be course of treatment?

Both can be indepaendent of each other and seperate enteties. Sometimes howerver there are hepatic causes of hyperglycemia. You will need to do significant dietary and lifestyle changes. Since your hba1c is 15 it is mandatory that you take medication. It is not possible to avoid medication at this stage. Is addition you need to runa few tests to rule out other serious causes of weight loss.

Also follow diabetes diet which simply means eating the healthiest foods in moderate amounts and sticking to regular mealtimes. A diabetes diet is a healthy-eating plan that's naturally rich in nutrients and low in fat and calories. Key elements are fruits, vegetables and whole grains. U can take (moderate amount) grapes. Apples. Berries. Citrus fruits. Papaya. U should avoid sugar-sweetened beverages. Sugary beverages are the worst drink choice for someone with diabetes. Trans fats sugar, cake, pastries mithai/sweets chocolate fruits like mango, litchi etc. White bread, pasta fruit-flavored yogurt. Sweetened breakfast cereals. Flavored coffee drinks. Honey 1.
